Robertson Geo

Gavin Rowlands is a geologist by background and has extensive international experience in the oilfield services sector. His areas of expertise include operational management, business development, marketing and product line management. His geoscience background has been pivotal in developing an in-depth understanding of drilling applications and the optimisation of downhole tool performance.  

He spent 22 years working internationally for ReedHycalog, a drill bit manufacturer, and prior to that he spent several years working for Core Laboratories on drilling rigs as a logger/geologist, before moving into commercial roles. He has been in his current role at Robertson Geo for three years and is responsible for the development of new international business for borehole logging tools and services, in the mining, geotechnical, oil/ gas, groundwater and renewable sectors.
