As RCG Founder and Managing Partner Rustem has spent nearly 10 years in metals and mining investment space, having structured a number of acquisitions and disposals of significant mining assets in Kazakhstan, brought mines to production, organized IPOs and debt placements. He brings a great deal of industry-specific and regional investment knowledge.
Rustem began his career as an Investment Manager at Kazyna Capital Management, Central Asia’s largest private equity group, where he worked closely with a variety of large international institutional investors. Rustem holds a BSc in Management Science from Warwick University (UK) and an MSc in Finance from Imperial College in London.
