Dr Estel Blay is Senior Business Development Manager at GlobalTrust Ltd. She is a doctor in aerospace engineering with a strong background in data analysis, opportunity identification, and technical communication.  In her role, she focusses her efforts on creating opportunities for the use of satellite technology to enable extractive industries organisations worldwide to develop and deliver sustainability strategies, embedding these ethical practices into future decision making. 

Previously, Estel was the Head of the Extractive Industries Programme at the Satellite Applications Catapult, where she helped create and maintain meaningful partnerships, establish a presence in new markets and build on relationships for the space industry in the mining sector.

Dr Robert Pell is the Founder and the CEO of Minviro. Rob founded Minviro in 2018 during the last months of Rob’s PhD at the Camborne School of Mines. Rob was then accepted onto the ICURe programme which enabled the testing and validation of the Minviro concept. Following conversations around the world with over 60 companies it was clear that the raw materials sector had under utilised life cycle assessment and a significant opportunity existed to reduce environmental impacts. 

Johan Kempe holds a MSc Mining Engineering (University of Lulea), specialising in equipment selection, optimising performance and minimising Life cycle costing within mining. Started as a mining engineer in the underground mines in Sweden, have held several senior international management roles with various mining equipment suppliers based in Europe, Africa and America. Currently Johan is leading Howden’s business development within mining in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Lucy England is a Mineral Processing Engineer with a Degree in Minerals Engineering from the Cambourne School of Mines (University of Exeter). She graduated in 1999 and has been working in Mining Sector for over 20 years in R&D, technical and commercial roles. She is currently the Innovation Manager for FLSmidth’s Mission Zero Mining specifically looking at Emerging Technologies that will deliver sustainable solutions to the mining industry.  

Irek Amirov is Deputy Head of sales in Aggreko. Irek is in charge of South Eurasia region that covers Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Mongolia markets. Irek and the team provide customised power solutions that save costs and reduce environmental impact for Aggreko's partners.  

Alonit Stefanini Wainwright.  MD and Marketing Lead of Hydropath Technology Ltd.  Daughter of Founders Dr Danny and Dalia Stefanini. I have worked at HYDROPATH since 2004 in Customer Relations, Sales, Training, Events, Marketing and everything in between…. except building an actual unit (I leave that to the engineers and warehouse tech guys). I have a background in Social Care and a degree in Humanities. I have a passion for wildlife, the environment, my family, friends and watching TV. 

Julian is co-founder of Binding Solutions which he has run since 2016. He is a Chartered Accountant who has been developing and investing in early stage intellectual property technology businesses for over 20 years in the medical devices, drug delivery and agri tech sectors. Prior to founding Binding Solutions he was financing and developing African resource companies and has matched his technology sector with his resource experience to build Binding Solutions. Julian studied law at Cambridge University
